The past few weeks we have been extremely busy!
Last Friday we had our Well Being Day. We discussed the ‘Learning Pit’ as a class, we shared our own experiences of when we have been in the pit and how we were able to make our way out and feel a sense of pride and achievement!
In PSHE we have been learning about bullying. On Friday we learnt what it means to be a bystander, and the different things a bystander might do. We role played different scenarios where the bystander did nothing, helped the victim, or even joined in with the bully.
In art we have been continuing with our painting. We were learning how to mix colours effectively, creating different moods whilst taking inspiration from the painting ‘Umbrellas’ by Renoir.
We have begun our new Science topic too, Magnets and Forces. Last week we explored the different forces that act upon objects to move them.
