In DT we learnt that levers are simple machines that help us lift heavy loads with less effort. First we explored if we could lift bricks using a lever and it worked. We then used mini levers and weights to see if we could get the smaller weigh to lift the heavier weight. We discovered if you moved the fulcrum closer to the load it is easier to lift. Therefore the children lifted the teachers.
