Samuel Lucas vs Pirton
The A team played their first league fixture of the season on Wednesday evening, below is a pupil match report:
“After a goalless first half, Samuel Lucas won their first game of the season. The first goal was scored by Stanley with a cracking shot into the top left corner from outside the area. Then Samuel Lucas scored another goal from Archie that hit the post and went in.
Soon afterwards, Noah scored a third goal. Jim scored the fourth goal and then 3 substitutions were made. Jamie added a fifth with a toe punt and then Frank completed the scoring. Jake played really well in goal and Olly and Josh played brilliantly as the tough men in defence.
It was a good win for Samuel Lucas and our next game is against St. Ippolyts next Wednesday.”
Archie was given man of the match for an excellent performance on the right wing capped off with a goal and an assist.
