Firstly we want to say a huge well done to everyone in Ash and Elm for all of your hard work.
You have been getting through lots of work and we know it is sometimes be tricky, but all we ask is that you try your best.
It seems like you have been all been enjoying our adventure book, Fantastic Mr Fox, this week. You have been doing a great job of identifying the features of an adventure story. We have also been very impressed with your ability to change indirect speech to direct speech, remembering your speech sandwich rules! Hopefully you will be able to put all of these skills into practise next week when you write your own adventure story!
We have now finished our block on fractions, I’m sure you all now know a lot more than you did this time last month! It’s been great to see that lots of you have a secure understanding of how to add and subtract fractions now too. We are now going to have a little time to go over skills we have already covered, so you will be able to really secure your learning.
