Year 2 have had another brilliant week!
As writers we have used our knowledge of instructions to write our own sets of instructions for how to make a vehicle (based on our DT project).
As mathematicians we have started learning about shape. This week we have focused our learning on 2D shapes and counting the sides and vertices of the shapes. We used lolly pop sticks to represent the sides of 2D shapes and string and our fingers to help us represent the vertices of 2D shapes.
As scientists we have continued our topic on ‘animals including humans’ and have learnt about eating a balanced diet and how we need exercise to keep ourselves healthy.
We also did a dress rehearsal of our Christmas play to some of the KS2 children. We are very excited about performing to you all on Monday!
