As writers we have started writing our own version of ‘Ten delicious monsters’. The children have exceeded our expectations with how hard they have tried with their work – what great authors we have in year 2!
As mathematicians we have explored what happens when we add ones to 2 digit numbers (e.g. 24 + 5) and what happens when we add tens to 2 digit numbers (e.g. 24 + 20).
As scientists we have learnt about food chains, learning that the arrows show the direction of energy. We then created our own food chains for a range of habitats.
As historians we have continued exploring the life of Grace Darling, and the impact that her rescue had on society.
