This week we celebrated Nursery Rhyme Week in Reception.  We had so much fun reciting the nursery rhymes we already know and learning some new ones too! We engaged in lots of activities linked to nursery rhymes such as using bricks and farm animals to make Old McDonalds Farm, threading like Incy Wincy Spider, small world to create Humpty Dumpty and soldiers, designed and made boats and even created our own rhyming strings!  On Friday, children were invited to come to school dressed as their favourite nursery rhyme character – a big thank you to all families for the wonderful costumes!
