Waterstones Book Shop in Hitchin very kindly invited us into their store for Harry Potter Day. The manager of children’s books welcomed us in for a range of fun activities during our usual Thursday lunch time club slot and the children impressed her with their love of books, knowledge of Potter and their enthusiasm in the activities. All children received a little badge and Miss Gibson was relieved to see so many children sorted into Hufflepuff (with the expert use of the sorting hat)!
We hope to continue to build links with our local bookshop and were all in agreement that the trip rated 5/5!
