Fraction frenzy!
Last week year 5 mathematicians practised making our own matching game to convert improper to mixed fractions by working out how many wholes there are in the fraction and what the remaining fraction is then we played the game with our partners to convert and match the correct fractions.
Later in the week, we created our own fraction bars less than 1 to compare and order fractions with other mathematicians by looking at the denominators.
