Year 2 have had a brilliant Friday preparing for the coronation. We decorated the classrooms with paper chains, made our own crowns and created finger painting Union Jacks.
Unfortunately because of the weather we couldn’t have our picnic outside, but we had our Year 6 reading buddy class come and join us for a picnic in the classroom! We thoroughly enjoyed our ice lollies for pudding too!
We spent some of the afternoon celebrating the coronation by playing games together as a class, such as heads down thumbs up, duck duck goose and wink wink murder!
