We have had a lovely day today: bunting in the corridor and room, quizzes, wordsearches, bingo and designing a Coat of Arms for King Charles III based on the Newsround video of his life we had watched.
Our crown making was a great success too, some of us taking inspiration from St Edward’s Crown, which will be used at the Coronation tomorrow.
Although we couldn’t have an outside picnic on the field due to the rain in the morning, we implemented Plan B and welcomed Oak and Hawthorn (our reading partner classes) into our rooms for lunch. It is so lovely to allow the different year groups to spend time together.
We wish Year 6 a happy three days and look forward to seeing them for our 8.30 breakfast on Tuesday!
