This afternoon Miss Painter was kind enough to come into Year 2 and introduce us to our new English text, ‘That Rabbit Belongs to Emily Brown by Cressida Cowell.’ We explored the text through the medium of drama
using freeze frames, whooshes and  role play. For the Whoosh, children sat in circles and âjumped inâ when asked to create a picture as the story is being told. When the stage gets too crowded, the âWhooshâ clears the stage so we can all have a go and telling the story. I was extremely proud of them this afternoon as they were all risks takers and got up and had a go at acting out the parts!
