This term our topic is ‘The Land of Hope and Glory’ and last week we began looking at British artists.
After examining lots of different British artists from a wide time period, we then focused on two David Hockney paintings, comparing them to find similarities and differences.
Please ask your child to talk to you about the style of paintings we looked at (showing the visible features of an area of land) and what this style of painting is called.
