This week Ash class have been exploring the properties of different rocks through a carrousel of experiments to find out how they behave. They recorded their findings in a scientific manner, a table.
First, they observed the density of the rocks in water;
Next, they examined the permeability of each of their rocks;
Then, they explored the durability of each rock;
Finally, they checked over their recordings and used resources to help them understand more about their rocks;
As a class will use these recorded observations to help us understand the type of rock and whether is it igneous, metamorphic or sedimentary.
