What a week in Year 6 we have all had. From debating whether SATs should return to finding ratios in Maths and flying over to Ancient Maya to discover the lost secrets. In P.E, we have developed our skills as cricketers and in Science, we created cross-bred dogs to show our understanding of inheritance.
It’s great to have our celebrational assemblies with Mrs Thomas on a Friday where we can share our learning and identify those children who have showed one of the Samuel Lucas’ 5Rs. Congratulations to our Writers and Maths Whizzes of the week. In Spruce; Isaac and Simran and in Beech; Charlie and Archie. Well done to our Times Tables Rockstars as well; Saman and Pavel.
Thank you for sending the children in their uniforms on Thursday as our P.E has changed to a Monday afternoon.
It is great that we can enjoy our play and lunchtimes on the field now that the spring weather is arriving.
