In Year 6 we have been looking at playscripts. On Monday, we practised our role-playing skills and acted out Little Red Riding Hood. From there, our aim was to create a playscript for an audience from the ages of 4 to 6, so we choose fairy-tales and famous children books as our stimulus and added a twist!
We started our DT project on building structures. This week we ventured out of our classroom to look at the many structures we have around the school and commented on their purposes and whether it met the needs of the user.
In Computing we created quizzes based on a science topic. We learnt how to record our voice to ensure our quizzes are inclusive to all. We also created many variations of question types, such as multi-choice, drag and drop, matching. This was fun!
Today, we were able to enjoy our assembly on the playground, socially distanced. Congratulations to all the winners.
We finished our P.E Enrichment area this week. We will be doing Foot-Rounders next week.
