Year 2 have had a busy first week back at school!
We have started our topic ‘Great and Ghastly events’ where we went back in time and compared life in 1666 to life now.
In Science we also started our learning on plants. We used our observational skills to explore 5 different seeds and predicted what they might grow into. Over the next few weeks we will see how the plants are growing and hopefully discover if our predictions were correct.
In computing we also started our learning of ‘creating pictures’ on Purple Mash. This week we learnt about impressionism and created our own pieces of impressionist art.
