Year 3 are excited to start their new Geography and History topics.
In History we have started the term as archaeologists digging for artefacts, asking questions about what we found. This introduced our Stone Age theme, which will run through the half term. We have already explored primary and secondary sources from the Stone Age food and written our own recipes!
In Geography we are exploring Europe and began with learning about the Earth’s imaginary lines. We used balloons and ribbons to show our learning, marking where the Equator, Prime Meridian, Tropics and lines of latitude and longitude are.
We look forward to investigating these topics in more depth later on in the term.
