The Magic of Multiplying
This week in Maths we have been exploring multiplying and dividing and number patterns. We had a lot of fun exploring squared numbers with our chess sets. What’s the difference between a square and a squared number? We also looked at prime numbers and cubed numbers.
Thanks to everyone who completed their factor bug home learning, revising their knowledge of times tables!

Maple also went to the school library and enjoyed reading and sharing book recommendations. We had a lot of green tickets to post in the box for the end of half term draw for a book prize! Well done to everyone who has read enough times to qualify for a ticket. We talked about the benefits of trying new books by authors that we have tried before – and challenged ourselves to try something new over the half term break.
