All this week as part of English, we have been hearing all about the Adventures of Katie Morag. 
Katie is a little girl from the fictitious Island of Struay in Scotland. We’ve heard about life on the island and learnt that there aren’t many houses on the island. In the story Katie Morag Delivers the mail, the children heard how Katie helped Mrs McColl in the Post Office to deliver the mail to the rest of the island. However, on her journey around the island, she had an accident that made delivering the mail very difficult. The children have spent this week writing their own versions of the story, thinking about which people they might like to deliver parcels to and what each person would receive.
