On Wednesday, Year 5 had a busy, fantastic day out at Knight’s Templar School’s Olympic event. Samuel Lucas represented France in the Olympic games and we all participated in sports that are in the Olympics and ParaOlympics such as wheelchair basketball, table tennis, archery, ultimate frisbee and lacrosse. There was even a design and create team who designed a France Jersey and did a cat walk in the closing ceremony as well as reporters reporting on all the events for the day. There was more than 800 primary school children from North Hertfordshire schools and it was lovely to see every child have a go, even if it was out of their comfort zone, and have fun in the sun!
