Today was the day of steps!! We’ve walked up and down lots of them today. The glass blowing demonstration at Alum Bay was really interesting and the children all enjoyed creating their sand-filled glass ornaments. Our time on the beach was very relaxing and we even did a bit of mindfulness, listening to the calming waves.
After the obligatory ice-cream, we travelled to Carisbrooke Castle. A highlight here was the demonstration where Jigsaw the donkey turned the huge wheel of the well. We also got a bit windswept on the wall walk around the top of the castle.
The karaoke and disco are now in full swing…
