Over the last two Fridays our fantastic Year 6 Play Leaders have been training up the next generation! Pupils from Years 4 and 5 have volunteered to take on the role of Play Leader from next term and will be leading games and activities for the younger children each lunchtime. It has been great to see the enthusiasm of the Year 6s as they pass on their skills and ideas to the Year 4s and 5s.
Before half term the trainee Play Leaders will be trying out games and leading activities with small groups of KS1 children to see who will be taking on the role from next half term. I’m sure they will all rise to the challenge!
I would like to thank all of the Year 6 Play leaders for their hard work and commitment throughout the year. They have been truly amazing and a credit to Samuel Lucas.
