In Art, we have been looking at the skill of printing. We have used different pieces of Roman jewellery as inspiration by looking at the patterns we could see and creating sketches of them. Then, we designed four different tiles and chose one to create. We created our tiles using string and cardboard.
Today, we used our tiles to print. We chose a colour (or two!) to apply to our tiles and then pressed them onto sugar paper to create a repeating pattern. We’ve included some examples of the work below. Enjoy!
