We travelled back in time to WWII to imagine what a tea party might have included. Mrs Cox helped us to explore the rationing that took place during the war and then supported us in developing independence in baking our own war-time recipe. Of course, we then had to taste it to check our baking skills were top notch! We feel more confident in selecting the best equipment, measuring accurately and demonstrated an excellent knowledge of the effects of each ingredient within the recipe!
Some of us think the recipe needed more tea, less raisins and more butter but Miss Gibson thinks they got it just right!
