Hello from Lilac and Willow, we hope you’ve had a good week this week!
This week:
Thank you so much for all of your Tapestry Observations. We have loved seeing all of your home learning around the story ‘Nat Fantastic’ by Giles Andreae. We’ve seen some fantastic superhero characters and lots of great descriptions about their super powers. We have also loved seeing all of your maths learning about how to find halve and seeing you learn your phonics.
If you haven’t had a chance to upload anything this week please can you do so. If possible, please could you submit observations by Friday of each week and can you ensure they include an observation of the specific maths task and literacy task that we have set for the week.
As a reminder this week’s maths was to upload an observation showing your child’s understanding of halving. For literacy it was for your child to imagine they are a superhero and write their name and superpower.
Next week:
For home learning, we will be using the story ‘What’s the time Mr Wolf’ by Debi Gliori as a stimulus for the children.
We will be sharing a video of the story being read by Mr French as a Memo on Tapestry. In our maths, the children will be learning all about sharing.
We hope you enjoyed celebrating VE Day this weekend!
