We celebrated the Queen’s birthday today by coming to school in red, white and blue, we looked really festive.  During the morning, in Lilac and Willow, we made bunting and Union Jack flags which we used to decorate the playground for a whole school picnic.  The cooks made delicious cup cakes with Union Jacks on them for our dessert.  In the afternoon we played traditional playground games like The Farmer’s In His Den, Duck Duck Goose and In And Out The Dusty Bluebells.  After that we had ice lollies to help us cool down.  It was a great day!
