Both Spruce and Beech have enjoyed creating their very own blue paint colour charts, experimenting with tone and then using a range of blue tones to re-create Renoirs’ Umbrellas!
We were introduced to the skills of tessellation, montage, mosaic and overlapping to mix a range of materials, fabrics, tools and techniques effectively. Very fiddly but a lot of fun, with some stunning outcomes.
