We have made a return to school sport fixtures this past week with lots of children representing the school in football and netball matches.
A Team Football League
Our footballers played their first league match of the season last week (27th September) and came away 6-0 winners against Purwell. The team played some excellent football and continued their good work from the early season rally.
Netball Fixtures
Two teams of Netballers played in the first matches of the season against Highover last week. With some children playing in their very first games for the school, both teams played some excellent Netball and it was a good opportunity to put their skills into practice.
A Team League Fixture:

B Team Friendly Fixture:
Highover 3 – SL 7
Girls Football League and B Team Fixtures:
William Ransom Girls 2 – 2 SL Girls
William Ransom B 2 – 7 SL B
Two very keenly contested matches with the B team scoring some fantastic goals along the way and a really evenly matched girls game that could have gone either way.
Well done to all of the children who have represented the school in the past week, you have been fantastic. Keep up the good work.
