Last week we had a wonderful time taking part in various investigations.
Firstly, we carried out an investigation for our materials learning. We used our Science skills to set up an investigation to decide on the best materials for a puppy bed. We learnt a new word absorbent and tested the materials to see if they were absorbent or not.
Next we used our questioning skills to pose scientific questions about fingerprints. We then investigated and compared prints to answer the question that we posed. Later in the week someone stole some cake from the staffroom so we had to use our Science skill to become detectives. We used our observing, comparing and reasoning skills to deduce who the thief was.
We had a lovely Science week.
