Year 2 have had a fantastic Science Week where we have explored ‘making the everyday exciting’.
We conducted fair test experiments to find out which biscuit was the best for dunking (we had some varied results but the oatie biscuits seemed to be one of the best!)
We also created our own aeroplanes out of straws and card hoops. We explored what happened to our planes if we made the straws shorter and then measured how far they went with trundle wheels!
Finally we learnt about optical illustions and created our own optical illusion by making it look like a hand on a piece of paper was 3D!
