This week we completed our Science investigation! Mr McAdam would like to build a shed in the school playground, but it keeps flooding where he would like to build it. As scientists, we needed to find out which soil was the most permeable so that the area wouldn’t flood.
After planning the investigation last week, we knew what to do in order to make it a fair test.
Unfortunately, the filters we used kept breaking as the soil was too heavy. We reflected on this afterwards and considered what we could change next time to make it a fair test.
