This week in Maths, the children have been going shape crazy! We’ve been identifying, describing, sorting and making 2D and 3D shapes.
We learnt that 2D shapes are flat whereas 3D shapes are solid. We talked about the properties of 2D and 3D shapes and learnt words including sides, corners, faces, edges and vertices.
Why not ask your child if you can spot any 2D or 3D shapes at home during half term.
