In design and textiles we have been investigating simple circuits to help us with our upcoming use of the ‘Makey Makey kit’ project.
We attached wires to a cell and a light bulb to allow the electrons to flow around the circuit. We experimented with disconnecting parts of the circuit to see what happened.
We then drew our own circuit using scientific symbols – Could you ask your child to draw a simple circuit for you and explain how the bulb is lit?
