In Year 1, we’ve started to choose our own reading books to take home. We know that reading is very important and we want to challenge ourselves to be Superstar Readers ready for Year 2. In order to achieve our goals, the children have been asked to read even more than before, whilst also talking more about the books they’ve read. Both classes have noticed the numbers of readers has almost doubled since we started our challenge, this is fantastic and a big WELL DONE! However we don’t want to stop there..! We want everyone to be Superstar Readers that read everyday. So with your continued support, please help your children by reminding them to read everyday and to talk about what they’ve learnt.
