Well done to all the children in KS2 who were involved in our production of The Lion King. Our last performance on Thursday evening ended a really successful run, and we’ve had great feedback from our audiences to say how impressed they were with the children’s performances. They’ve worked so hard and deserve to be really proud of themselves. Seeing the children in Years 5 and 6 shine and grow in confidence as they’ve developed their roles has been great. We were ably supported by Years 3 and 4 – thanks to all of them for joining in so enthusiastically. Our thanks once again go to all the teachers and TAs who were involved in making props, masks and face painting, to Mrs Footer for her musical expertise, to Mrs Mead for designing the make-up and the many other adults who helped in different ways behind the scenes – thanks for putting in all the extra time and effort to help make the show such a huge success. It’s been a real team effort and we couldn’t have done it without you all.
