Wow! What a fantastic start to Monday. We enjoyed a visit from Morrison Utility Service, who got us thinking about the journey our water makes to get to us. It made excellent links to our whole school book, The Street Beneath My Feet, as well as getting us applying our science, geography and mathematical thinking in a real-life scenario.
AND… we all succeeded in not flooding the classroom as we used pipes and connectors to set up our very own water supply systems!
Fantastic group skills for collaboration and problem – solving; our guests were very impressed.
