Year six have had a great time recently, adding our finishing touches to our studies about Renoir. Each class worked in groups to replicate his style on two large umbrellas, using a range of media and resources. The finished .products have pride of place at the top of the stairwells at either end of our corridor!
In other news, we have been continuing our problem-solving scheme of work in PE, this week transforming the hall into a cave-system! The classes have enjoyed all manner of activities over the past few weeks and have impressed us with their social skills, encouraging each other and making suggestions to achieve success for the team.
The recent Black Book home learning: “What makes us happy!” was a pleasure to read. The chidren really do show originality and creativity in what they submit.
We are looking forward to next week’s festive activities!
