Hello all!
We have been super busy over the last few weeks with Sports week, science experiments, art projects and writing. I am sure you have heard how much the classes have enjoyed sports week and trying out all the different activities- we have some superb budding skaters amongst us and we were super impressed with the class’ resilience and enthusiasm for the activities.
In Science, we have been learning about states of matter. We have been busy investigating different solids, liquids and gases and the children have really enjoyed creating their own clouds in jars as well as making posters explaining the differences between the three states using cheerios!
Art has been an amazing journey into using watercolours- the class have shown their concentration skills in order to develop their watercolour skills to create a wash for their Chinese scrolls. We will be looking at sketching over the next few weeks to further develop their skills in sketching.
