Year 5 poets have used our senses to hear, discover and write our own sensory poems.
We used our senses – touch, hear, smell, taste and listen to different types of fruit then choose our favourite fruit to rite a free verse poem about.
This week we read with our ERIC partners again. ERIC stands for Everyone Reading in Class. Each class has a partner class and we get together once a week to enjoy reading and sharing books together. Maple and Elm read together outside in the gorgeous autumn sunshine on Friday afternoon. We listened to the younger readers and had some great discussions about the books that we like to read. It was fun signing the reading records!
