Year 6 having been look at various poems around Remembrance. They developed their oracy skills by practising performing these in class.
We have made our poppy wreaths and considered our own personal reflections for remembrance, we put these together to make class wreaths that were laid in our service.
We attended an outstanding remembrance service. 4 members of year 6 read ‘Flanders field’ to the school.
It was lovely to see so many staff and students proudly wearing their service uniforms.
