A Year 3 Class Post

Week 3

Wow! Week 3! How have we got here already? Year 3 have had a very busy week this week. We have been busy learning about instructions with a very funny video of how to make a jam sandwich. Hopefully next week, the children will all come home having made fortune tellers and will be able to instruct you all in the fine art of origami. We have also been busy designing and making (dare I say it?!) Christmas cards which will be winging their way to you soon.

In Science, Elm have been busy making skeletons out of pasta. Ash will be looking at this next week (pictures to follow for Ash).

We have also continued learning about the Stone Age. This week, we have focussed on settlements. The children have been looking at the differences between Palaeolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic houses. Please ask them about how the Stone Age people lived and how they developed their homes into ones that are recognisable to us today.
