Year 2 have been historians and geographers this week and have taken part in fieldwork activities about Hitchin and Samuel Lucas school. As historians we explored what Hitchin market was like in the past, and as geographers we explored the school grounds, identified human and physical features and then created our own 3D maps of the school.
As mathematicians we have been developing our measuring skills, exploring how to measure mass and volume.
In our physical enrichment activities Oak class have been using body boards, scooters and balance bikes. In hawthorn class we have been building dens using materials such as wood, sticks, string and other materials.
