Some of our footballers have been very busy this week (21st February) representing the school in the Wix Football Cup.
We travelled to Weston School on Tuesday evening and in very boggy, tricky conditions came away with the victory. Some neat football on a difficult pitch saw us go 3-0 ahead before Weston pulled a goal back from a well taken free kick just before half time.
The team turned on their attacking flair in the second half and four further goals followed without reply. If it wasn’t for some outstanding saves from the Weston goalkeeper the score line could have been very different.

A hastily arranged Quarter Final match two days later saw us make the short journey to Pirton School. After a difficult, goalless first half on a tight pitch, the players produced some fantastic attacking football to progress to the Semi Final.
We now face the winners of William Ransom or Wymondley for a place in the Final.
