It’s been World Book Day Week! Year 1 have had an amazing week. They met Nizrana Farook who is an author, she shared with us how she develops her ideas to write stories. On World Book Day, the children wrote their own animal poems inspired by the author Joseph Coelho and they all looked amazing in their fancy dress! In geography, we have continued our continents and we have learnt about Africa. In science, we have been identifying mammals and their characteristics. In art, we have been doing observational drawings of animals.
