This week in Year 1 we have been retelling the story of the Gingerbread Man in English. In maths, we have been learning our number bonds to 10, which numbers add up to make 10. We have been learning about the Gunpowder Plot and why we have fireworks night. The Year 1 children have been using the outdoor area this week creating dens for the Gingerbread Man, crating their own gingerbread men and using the mud kitchen to make cakes, muffins and cookies.
