In Year 1 this week, we have been rehearsing our Christmas performance and performed it to Year 4 and 5. In English, we were following instructions to create a fox sandwich and we identified the bossy verbs within the instructions. In computing, we were following algorithms to paint our birds on Purple Mash. In art, we have been looking at different ways to create abstract art by linking our PE and art together by rolling balls to paint. In RE, we learnt about the story of Diwali. The children created bridges that were used to defeat King Ravana and in archery they role played using the golden arrow to defeat him.
