Year 1 have been working so hard this week. They started the week meeting Mrs Young from St Mark’s church, who taught them about Harvest Festival and how they can help others in the community. Thank you to those that donated a tin. In science, the children predicted and tested which materials and objects would float and sink. In English, they have been acting out pirate facts and writing pirate fact files. In maths, the children have been learning about number lines and made their own human number line.
