This week in Year 1, we have continued our fantastic leaning about The Great Fire of London. The children have been making houses to show how the fire spread and their own books explaining what happened. In science, we have been conducting an investigation to find out if taller people have the biggest feet. In English, we have been writing our own poems using adjectives. In RE, the children learnt about different leaders in our lives and in religion. We learnt how different religions welcome people into their community. Next week, we will be going on a walk around Hitchin to look at Tudor style buildings to understand how the fire spread during The Great Fire of London. We hope the children have an amazing time at the school disco tonight.
