Year 1 this week have been learning how The Great Fire of London ended and how London was rebuilt. Specifically, how St Paul’s Cathedral was rebuilt. The children have enjoyed designing and constructing their own buildings during Busy Time. In maths, we have been learning how to use number lines to 20 and also estimating where numbers would be on a blank number line. In English, we wrote missing posters for our lost penguins to help them get back to Antarctica. On Friday, we walked into town to compare old and new buildings. Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to help us.
